We don’t just do speed training- we develop the WHOLE athlete.
Every athlete who walks through our doors is someone's whole world. We never forget that. At Top Speed Athletics, we believe getting faster should never come at the cost of a kid's body or their love for the game. So we don't grind athletes down and call it progress. We teach them to move better — training the mechanics and the nervous system that actually create speed — and we treat rest and recovery as part of the work, not time off from it. The result is an athlete who's faster, stronger, healthier, and still genuinely excited to compete. And because what happens in their head matters as much as what happens in their legs, we coach the mind too. Confident kids run faster. We're here to build both.
Our Mission: Our program is designed to improve your athlete’s mental preparation, speed, agility and core strength, so that they will become more effective in their prospective sport.
We believe that proper mental training, improved technique in speed, agility and core strength is what top tier athletes spend most of their time perfecting and that is the emphasis in our program.
Our History: We began formally training athletes in our program the summer of 2018 however both owners Corey and Lorraine Eloms bring 22 years combined of youth coaching experience.
Lorraine Eloms
Top Speed Owner and 3-time NY state 100 meter state champion. Lorraine earned a full track scholarship to Indiana University where she was a 3-time All American and 3-time Big 10 champion. Lorraine was a site director and coached sprints and jumps for 12 years with the Indy’s Racing Cheetahs track club.
In the spring of 2022 Lorraine took the position as sprints coach at Hamilton Southeastern Intermediate Junior High School for both the girls and boys track teams. In 2023, Lorraine began coaching girls sprints at Fishers High school where she coached a 100m state champion and school record holder (2 events) along with the school record holding 4x100 relay.
Corey Eloms
Top Speed Owner and 2-time Indiana state champion. Corey earned a full track scholarship to Ball State University where he was a 2-time All Mid American conference champion in long jump and 60 meters. Corey coached track for 2 years at Concordia High School in Ft. Wayne where he coached 3 state champions (one of which was his sister Joy Eloms). He also coached 2 years of youth football at Eastwood Middle School and 3 years as the sprint coach at Guerin Catholic High School while also coaching his son Carsen for the past 10 years in football and basketball.
In the spring of 2022 Corey took the position as long jump coach at Fishers High School for the girls and boys program and later began coaching boys sprints. Through his training and development, sprints contributed to the 2024 outdoor boys state track and field team title.
Our Success Story
Since we began our camps in June of 2018, we have had a 100% success rate of our athletes. This means that they improved in speed, strength and agility from day 1. We accomplished this by teaching the HOW on proper technique for speed and agility while also placing a great emphasis on working on core strength. It is proven that the stronger your core is, the longer you are able to maintain proper technique. Everything we teach we have done during our own athletic careers which have proven to be successful. We also continue to study the latest techniques and exercises to ensure our coaching and athletes continuously evolve.
Top Speed Athletics — We build faster athletes, stronger minds, and kids who still love the game.

❊ Testimonials
Loved by Athletes, Trusted by Parents.
Seriously! But don’t take our word for it, here are some things people have to say about us.
Both coaches were fantastic! My son left with a smile on his face and well on his way to improved running form. Instructions were all clearly communicated in a way that he could relate to. Very positive experience.

In my opinion, the most crucial aspect that Coach Lorraine offers is psychological safety. This environment empowers my daughter to wholeheartedly open up and address all the areas she needs to develop. Because of this supportive atmosphere, she feels confident exploring the new techniques and exercises that Coach Lorraine recommends.

“
Yes Ma'am! Thank you again so much. I've never had a coach who's put in the time to explain how I can improve mentally they jus said I need to fix it but never helped. So thank you!
